One of your greatest donations is the donation of time. We need help with pick-up of donated supplies, delivery locally and out of state, local construction projects, etc.
Our out-of-state trips are nearly always overnight hauls, averaging 300 to 600 miles each way, and incorporate heavy loads upwards of 10,000+ pounds, and are weekend trips. Everyone is encouraged to ride with us (up to two additional people in our truck) or to follow separately.
During LHM trips, we often incorporate small construction projects. Some of the projects include building a handicap ramp, fixing a leaking roof, repairing windows, doors, walls, kitchens, and bathrooms, installing VCT flooring, tearing out materials for another ministry to replace later, or simply giving encouraging support to an emotionally crushed, lost, and hurting resident. The greatest need is your willing presence. Regardless of your talents, your commitment of time is well used.
